This event is a costume party which basically aims at facilitating the understanding of traditional Chinese dress culture and its sociocultural and historical significance, and more importantly, promoting the intercultural communication among the diverse cultural communities at Penn through series social activities. We will provide traditional Chinese Dim-Sum, music and video clips related to the Chi-pao theme, thematic performances, dance teaching, costume election, and picture booth, etc. The attendees will have a lot of fun.
TC@Penn (Teaching Chinese@Penn) is a Student Organization that aims to promote Chinese language and culture. We provide free Chinese tutoring service (once per week), workshops, and cultural events to Penn students and staff. Our organization is sponsored by the Penn Graduate School of Education and GAPSA. We have 4 years history since 2010.
